The first chapter

The Ceremony

St Bartholomew's

Munsley, Herefordshire

The beautiful village church beside the orchard — where we'll say our "I do's".

Ceremony begins

12:30pm

Please arrive by

12:10pm

Please note: we're having an unplugged ceremony — pop your phones away and be fully present with us. Our brilliant photographer will capture every moment.

And please — no confetti at the church. We'll have a confetti moment at the orchard later!

The celebration

Under the Tipis

The Orchard at Munsley

A bespoke tipi venue in the heart of Herefordshire

After the ceremony, follow us up the drive into the apple orchard for an afternoon and evening of food, drinks, music and dancing under the festoon-lit Nordic tipis.

Think golden-hour cocktails, fire pits, heels-off dancing, and a wedding that feels like the best weekend of our lives.

From the venue

"Open skies, Nordic tipis glowing at sunset, cocktails flowing under the trees, and a dance floor full of your favourite people."

Getting there

Where to lay your head

Where to Stay

Make a weekend of it. There are some lovely spots within a short hop of the orchard — book early as Herefordshire's hideaways fill up fast.

Hotel

The Verzon Hotel

A boutique country house hotel with great food, just a short drive from the orchard.

Self-catering

White House Cottages

Charming cottages — ideal for groups travelling together who want their own space.

Glamping

Mike's Meadow Glamping

For anyone who wants to lean into the countryside vibes — bell tents and stargazing under the Herefordshire sky.

What to wear

The Dress Code

Boho Formal · Garden Party

Think floaty dresses, linen suits, suede waistcoats, dried-flower buttonholes and a touch of the wildflower meadow. Glam it up — we want everyone looking gorgeous in the photos.

  • Mind your heels, ladies! The venue is gravel and grass — chunky heels, wedges, block heels or pretty flats will save your feet (and your shoes).
  • Layer up for later. September evenings in the countryside get chilly once the sun dips — a shawl, jacket or favourite knit is a good shout.
  • Bring something warm and wonderful — fire pits will be lit, but the orchard breeze is real.
Eat, drink & be merry

Food & Drink

The Feast

Wedding breakfast will be served in the tipis at 3pm, with welcome drinks & canapés flowing from 1:30pm and a late-night pizza party from 9pm onwards.

Dietary requirements & allergies: please let us know via the RSVP form so we can make sure everyone is well fed.

The Bar

The bar will be cash & contactless. Please bring a card or some cash with you — we won't be able to take payment any other way on the day.

Top tip: tap-to-pay is your friend in the orchard!

A few important bits

The Need-to-Knows

Adults Only

As much as we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that this is an adults-only celebration. Treat it as a date night!

Named Guests Only

We've put a lot of love into our guest list! Invitations are for the people named on them — no plus ones, but we promise lots of friendly faces.

Unplugged Ceremony

Please pop your phones away during the ceremony. Be present, soak it in — our photographer is on it.

No Confetti at Church

Save it! There'll be a confetti moment at the orchard with proper biodegradable petals.

Will you be there?
